REPERTOIRE

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. Memorization is required for all pieces and repeats are not needed.
2. In the Educational Composers category, the time limit is three minutes. 
    In Open Music category, the time limit is approx. three to five minutes depending on the age category
    In the Amateur Pianists category, the time limit is five minutes.
​3. Contestants are allowed to enter in multiple categories with different pieces in each category.

REPERTOIRE CATEGORIES FOR OPEN MUSIC 

1. Two pieces of contrasting styles. 
2. Please observe the following time limits for each age group:
    Ages 5-8 (3 minutes)
    Ages 9-11 (3 minutes)
    Ages 12-14 (5 minutes)
    Ages 15-17 (5 minutes)
3. When choosing a piece, the contestant is allowed to choose individual movements from a piece if preferred. 

REPERTOIRE FOR AMATEUR PIANISTS

Contestants may choose to play any music as long as the five minute time limit is observed.
